We are happy to introduce a new BlackVue collaboration – Mapillary customized DR900S Series dashcams!

Mapillary is the street-level imagery platform that uses computer vision to fix the world’s maps. In other words, Mapillary brings together a global network of contributors who want to make the world accessible to everyone by visualizing the world and building better maps. ;

So far, anyone could contribute with such tools as their smartphones or action cams, but now street-level image collection got even simpler and more convenient thanks to Mapillary customized BlackVue dashcams!

To optimize BlackVue for mapping purposes, Mapillary teamed up with the BlackVue manufacturer Pittasoft and developed a special custom firmware designed for capturing imagery that helps improve maps from every hour of the drive. BlackVue is compatible with every type of vehicle and can be used by individual users or entire fleet of vehicles.
