This was such a close call we thought the crash actually happened!
BlackVue user Edianto sent us the footage from his DR750S-2CH dashcam (you can purchase the X versionhere) captured on one of the Indonesian highways. There was a maintenance sign placed on the right lane – but it wasn’t visible if there was a car in front of you, at least not until it changed the lanes. This posed a dangerous situation to oncoming cars, which can be clearly visible by both the front and rear camera footage from Edianto’s BlackVue dashcam.
The two cars captured by the dashcam’s rear camera missed each other by what looks like a mere inch! If the collision happened, or if somebody rear-ended Edianto’s car, he would have clear evidence of what actually happened. The front camera dashcam footage shows the insufficient warning sign, and the rear camera demonstrates the effects of such signage placement.
