Dash Cam recording in Parking Mode catches collision

BlackVue user Zabed came back to his car, parked on the street. He connected to his BlackVue DR750X-2CH dash cam (DR750X-2CH Plus availablehere) via the BlackVue app as usual, to check the videos. His dash cam was recording in Parking Mode while he was away. Sure enough, the camera captured a collision that happened right across the road! The silver vehicle backed up from its parking spot straight into a gray BMW, parked behind. The impact was strong enough to make the BMW move a good feet or two!

The importance of having a dash cam

Zabed told us, “I realize the importance of having both front and rear dash cam installed in any car as most of the time you won’t notice anything after the incident took place, imagine this happened to my car, I would have had evidence to make an insurance claim or check the damage it may have caused.”

The BMW owner was a local resident that Zabed knew, so he sent him the footage in case it was needed in the insurance claim process.
