Convertible vs. UPS truck

BlackVue user Wayne sent us this footage his older BlackVue dash cam captured. He was following behind a UPS truck when suddenly a red convertible pulled up in front of the truck. The truck driver seemed to have a great response time but not enough room to avoid the collision.

Footage offered both to the police and the driver

Wayne, who used to work as an EMT, stopped nearby and checked on everyone involved. Thankfully, they were only shaken up, but no serious injuries. The BlackVue user waited for the police to arrive to give his statement and his dash cam footage to them as well. He also offered the video file to the UPS driver – so that he didn’t get in trouble with his company. In the end, the BlackVue dash cam footage was useful not only to the police at the scene, but also to the UPS driver.
